Read up on 21st December 2012. Some people predict it is the end of the world. Others of a more spiritual inclination believe it is a year of spiritual transformation and the end of civilisation as we know it (metaphysically speaking) or an apocalypse of sort. It is the end of the Mayan Calendar and cosmologically speaking the date is when the sun will rise in the middle of our Milky Way Galaxy and causing an alignment between the earth, sun and the galactic centre. What this might signify for our our planet remains to be seen, but it sure sounds like some pretty interesting things are in the horizon. It might be the end of the world or it might not but it would make a memorable Christmas and New Year no doubt. You have been warned.
